Educational qualification

1) Young Professional-l ( YP-I ) :

Graduate inAgriculture /Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Botany.

2) Senior Research Fellow ( SRF ) : 

M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Agricultural/Biotechnology / Botany / Life Science) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree.

OR

Candidate having Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology / Botany / Life Science with 03 years Bachelor's degree and 02 years Master's Degree should have NET qualification with 2 years of research experience.

3) Agriculture Field Operator ( AFO ) : 

Candidates must have completed Matric with +2 Vocational /Diploma in Agriculture related subject.

OR

Matric with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural field from reputed organization.

Age Limit

As per ICAR- NRRI Department Official notifications age limit as on date of interview. 

Minimum Age - 18 Years

Maximum Age - 35 Years

Age Relaxation - As per government Rules.

For OBC Students - 03 Years

For ST/SC/Pwd - 05 Years

For Ex- Service man - 05 years

For PWD+SC/ST- 15 Years

Salary :- 

1. For YP-I Post : Rs – 30,000 /- Per Month

2. For SRF Post : Rs – 31,000 /- Per Month + HRA

3. For AFO Post : Rs – 18,000 /- Per Month

Terms & Conditions 

1. The above position(s) is/are purely temporary and is co-terminus with the

scheme/project. The service of appointed candidate will stand terminated

automatically after expiry of the scheme/project or completion of period

indicated in the selection offer whichever is earlier and the candidate will not

have any right for absorption in NRRI/ICAR. The above age limits are relaxable

for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

2. Eligible & desirous candidates are advised to bring one recent passport size

photographr original educational certificates (matriculation onwards) along

with Xerox copy & experience certificate of relevant subject (as per advertisement) for appearing in walk-in-interview comprising written-cum-personal interview on prescribed dater time and place.

3. Director NRRI reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of position

and also to cancel the recruitment process for the position mentioned above.

Director’s decision will be final and binding in all aspects.

4. No TA and DA for appearing in the interview are admissible.

5. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.

6. If currently employer then the candidate will have to furnish no-objection

certificate from the current employer for appearing in the interview.

7. No candidate will be entertained strictly after the scheduled time as

mentioned against each.
